Celebrity Diary;Comedian TejubBabyface shares hustling tales of how his car once disgraced him+MI buying the car he wished he could buy but couldnt Afford

Teju Oyelakin also known  as Babyface is one of Nigeria's most Prominent and established comedians. He warmed his way into our hearts by showing us his talents from acting,Comedy and even his ability to man a talk show(The Teju Babyface show)

However, all that success did not just drop off a tree, like everyone who gets to the top, there is a story to share,or tales of trying times that have been surmounted.

See some of Teju's experiences that he shared with fans below.

"In the year 2011, when I went to invite Peter and Paul of P-square to invite them to The Teju Babyface Show, they were very nice and quite cool with being on the show. After praising us for doing a good show so far, they escorted me outside. Their mom (of blessed memory) was standing outside with a few friends and she was very warm to me as well. And so, in the sight of all of them (Peter, Paul, Jude, their dancers, mom and family), I entered my battered Honda Accord and started saying a silent prayer; 'This car please do not disgrace me in the presence of these boys with all their Range Rovers, X6 and Hummer'. And then I turned the ignition on. NOTHING! The stupid car refused to start! I tried again and again, nothing! I wanted to enter the ground!

So it was with a shamed face that I popped the hood and Peter helped me pull up the bonnet. I grabbed a stone from the ground and knocked the battery head with Paul saying to me 'do not worry bro, it has happened to all of us'! Thankfully the car started after several bashings to the battery with the stone and I slowly crawled out of their close

So, I was finally fed up and decided the time had come to change the car, therefore I arose and went to see my friend Debo who sold cars in Opebi. Man, he had one sleek and tricked out Mercedes Benz C-Class; I loved it immediately! What I didn't love was the price tag; I couldn't afford it but I still wanted it bad, so I started doing what my mentor, Sam Adeyemi, had counselled one time; I would go there often just to look at the car. Just to stare at it, sit in it and dream. Well, one day I got there and the car was gone! Debo said he had sold it just the week before. Well, you can't miss what you never owned, can you? Anyways, about a month later, I was at a comedy event in Ikoyi, Lagos and as I walked into the venue, I saw that same C-Class; I would recognize that paint job, those tail pipes, trim lines and rims anywhere! I was curious to see who had bought 'my car', and so I sidled up to the car and managed to peer into the driver's seat without looking like a creep.

As it turned out, the driver was chilling in the car and working on a laptop computer, so I tapped on the window. The driver rolled down the window in curiosity. Well guess who it was? MI! Mr. Incredible himself! Choi! At that time I seriously wondered if I hadn't chosen the wrong part of the entertainment industry to be involved in. These guys were cleaning out and here I am still on the hustle! 'So na you buy this car last last', I joked. He laughed and we exchanged pleasantries and I took the opportunity to invite him to our show. He was very nice and warm about it and he was there the very next week. Great guy and we had massive fun! "
